Our objective is to establish a vibrant ‘Piece of Bangladesh’ in USA, ensuring that our collective responsibility, duty, and mutual cooperation are perpetually sustained through our organization.
The organization was founded in 1994 through friendly gatherings among a few close friends. It all began with discussions filled with ideas, thoughts, and shared sentiments.
The year was 1994. During breaks at work—especially over cups of tea—lively conversations would take place. These chats often revolved around the joys, sorrows, and struggles of family life. Everyone quietly felt that, in this distant land, there was no one outside their own family to stand by them in times of need.
Driven by that realization, a few of us friends decided to form an organization that would allow us to support one another in both good times and bad. Membership would be open only to those sharing the same profession and mindset.
No sooner said than done—on a day off in 1994, all the friends gathered together, and through that heartfelt meeting, Yellow Society of New York Inc. was born.
And we have a slogan
“We may differ as individuals, but for the sake of our organization, we stand united.”
